Roofing Warranty
Ambia Roofing's limited workmanship warranty for qualifying roof installation work and qualified manufacturer warranty information.

Our Limited Warranty
We provide the following “Limited Warranty” on the work associated with installation of the roof: we warrant that the roof will be free from defects in materials and workmanship that we may cause for a five (5) year period beginning on the date installation is completed (the “Workmanship Warranty Period”).
This Workmanship Warranty covers labor only. It does not extend to materials or product coverage provided by the product maker. The applicable periods under this section are collectively the “Warranty Period”.
Manufacturer Product Warranty
Manufacturer warranty coverage of up to thirty (30) years may be available on qualifying roofing products and systems. Availability, coverage length, registration requirements, transferability, exclusions, remedies, and claim handling are controlled by the applicable manufacturer and the written warranty documents for the products installed.
Manufacturer warranty coverage is separate from Ambia’s Workmanship Warranty. Ambia will identify the manufacturer warranty information that applies to the selected materials and provide applicable closeout documentation when the project is complete.
Workmanship Warranty Exclusions
The Workmanship Warranty does not cover damage or loss caused by or to any of the following:
- Hidden or concealed water, gas, alarm, A/C, electrical, or utility lines.
- Internal structural components, including sagging eaves, rafters, trusses, joists, or fascia.
- Repair or removal of satellite dishes or solar panels.
- Cosmetic variations in materials, discoloration due to environmental exposure, minor cracking, roughness in concrete, or minor paint discoloration.
- Damage caused by Acts of God, extreme weather, settlement of the building, or any alterations after project completion.
- Any work done by individuals other than Contractor.
- Cracks greater than 1/8 inch in roofing, waterproofing, or deck system that develop more than 30 days after installation, which shall be deemed due to structural movement.
Warranty Claims and Remedies
To make a claim, you must submit a claim in writing during the Warranty Period to roofing@ambiasolar.com.
In the event of a warranty claim, we may, at our option, repair or replace any defective part, material, or component, or correct any defective workmanship as covered under the Limited Warranty, at no cost or expense to you. We may use new or reconditioned parts when making repairs or replacements. At our discretion, we may make cosmetic repairs.
Nonpayment Exclusion
The Workmanship Warranty shall be considered void if Customer’s payment of the Contract Price remains unpaid for ninety (90) days following the Completion Date.
Limited Warranty Exclusions
The Limited Warranty does not cover problems resulting from:
- Full or partial destruction or damage to the roof not caused by us, our contractors, or agents, including, without limitation, damage caused by animals.
- Misuse, abuse, or alteration of the roof by you or a third party.
- Normal wear and tear, or cosmetic or aesthetic repairs that do not involve safety of the roof.
- Your breach of the Agreement, including failure to provide access or assistance to us or our agents in diagnosing or repairing a problem, or failure by you to maintain the roof.
- Any Force Majeure Event, as such term is defined in the Agreement.
- Damage to the roof caused by foreign objects, including hail, ball strikes, or drone impacts.
- Vandalism or tampering with the roof by anyone.
- The installation, removal, reinstall, modification, or repairing of the roof by anyone other than us or our approved service providers.
- Any other cause beyond our reasonable control.
